I have a few updates. I'm still using Castile Soap for my face and body. First off, I miss the lather that the black soap and my old love(Dove's line) gave me. However, my skin always is left feeling refreshed, but I'm not satisfied. My face is still looking clear so I've come to the conclusion that my skin is happy with both black soap and castile soap. I have noticed however my skin feels less dry when using black soap.
I'm still using my toner I threw together over a month ago and its definitely a keeper. I will continue to use the castile mix(I will probably add more of the soap for some added lather). I will probably stick with my black soap mix after this.
U know I can't stop making new concoctions so when my diy lotion/oil started to run low I had to whip up a new batch...hmm I need a better name for it than that...any suggestions? I had been noticing that when I was using mostly coconut oil and a little shea butter my skin was ashy by the end of the day. I can't lie and said I thought really long an hard about it because when I make things I kinda just throw things together spontaneously but I did ponder about what would increase my skins moisture. I had recently done a little research for a friend on whether grapeseed oil would help with ingrown hair. While, I didn't find that specific info I did I find that it could help with moisture. So mixed:
melted some shea butter(my first time using the yellow kind)
coconut oil
EVOO
grapeseed oil
rosemary EO
tea Tree EO
purified H2O
I played with the amts to find a creamy consistency. I love this stuff I have used it on my hair and skin for about a week now. Although it contains a great deal of oil it does not leave me feeling greasy and the moisture stays throughout the day.

A Few Updates
I have been using my black soap for about a month now and I really like it. I'm noticing that my face seems a lot more smooth and healthy. I'm still working on finding a natural way to help this small discolorations on my skin. So far I think that the olive oil has helped a little, but I haven't been doing it every night like I would like. I retwisted my hair last weekend in mini two strand twist with a twist lol. I added about .5-1 inch small cornrows in the front to make my plain style a little more appealing and I plan to leave my hair in twist for 3-4 weeks.
I have been applying to companies like crazy praying that I will find a college grad gig wayyy before graduation so I will have one less thing to worry about. I started to get discouraged, but I just had a great interview with my #1 company!!!! Hopefully, I will hear back from them soon for a on-site interview in TX.
My friend just had a baby girl Tuesday night, and I've been by her side every chance I get. I'm exhausted, but their definitely worth it.

Progress Report
So I have been using my black soap mix this week. I realize that I need to try the black soap out for at least a few weeks to see how it works out but I'm still debating how I should go about that. I normally use my St. Ive's Apricot scrub every other day, but I really don't know if I should be using it if I'm trying only see the results from the black soap. On top of that when I apply my ACV as my toner my face burns like crazy now and I don't know exactly how I should read that. Also, yesterday I noticed my face is starting to peal which I thought was a bad thing...until this morning I noticed my complexion is starting to look more clear. Could my skin pealing be a sign that my newer better skin is trying to peak through lol.
I also put in my mini twists last weekend and I hate the front of my hair already. I really can't stand the frizz. I try to ignore it but I feel like a fuzz ball. I used coconut oil and shea butter when twisting. I spray my hair with water and a few oils daily and sleep with a bonnet at night. I don't know what I'm doing wrong maybe its the water idk. My hair always feels moisturized. The back of my hair feels like I put twists in yesterday but the front looks like they've been in a month ugh. If I wasn't so tired I would redo the front this weekend. I will update again soon.
Toodles.

Trying Black Soap Again
I woke up this morning and decided to try liquefying my black soap again. If all goes well I will use this for my face, body, and hair. Since my skin is so sensitive I'm not sure if this will work out well but hey y not try. This my second time trying black soap. The first time the soap worked fine but I believe I added too much water and I didn't document the results. This time I used two videos for guidance by DuchessGabrielle and NeicyGoingNatural I'm letting it settle for three days. I will take pictures to keep up with my results.
